• Please note: Bags that are too thin tear easily, while bags that are too thick increase costs and feel stiff to the touch.

Custom Clothing Packaging: Design & Printing Requirements

1. Vector Design Files

Clients must provide original vector files in AI, CDR, or PDF format.

• Why this matters: Packaging bag printing requires the creation of gravure printing cylinders (copperplates). Standard JPG or PNG images will pixelate or lose sharpness when scaled up, making them unsuitable for cylinder engraving and printing.

2. Color Standards (PANTONE Codes)

If your brand logo has strict color requirements, please provide specific Pantone color codes (e.g., PANTONE 186C).

• Why this matters: Screen displays vary significantly across different monitors due to color calibration. Providing standard Pantone codes is the best way to minimize chromatic aberration and guarantee color accuracy in the final print.

• Eco-Friendly Materials:

  • Fully Biodegradable & Compostable Materials (PLA + PBAT): If your brand champions sustainability and green initiatives, we highly recommend selecting compostable materials. 3. Functional Details

• Air Vents (Exhaust Holes): Apparel packaging typically requires 1–2 micro-perforated air vents. Without these vents, trapped air will cause the bags to bloat once the garments are folded and packed, which significantly hinders efficient boxing and shipping.

Apparel packaging production relies on highly automated industrial assembly lines. Therefore, larger order volumes allow plate-making fees and machine setup waste to be amortized more efficiently, drastically lowering the unit cost.

• Standard MOQ for Zipper Bags: Generally starts at 5,000 pieces.

• Please note: If the quantity falls below this threshold, it may not meet the mechanical startup requirements, or it will result in a significantly higher unit price.
